hi ! I am turning 31. I want to to get freak nasty with everyone I love (YOU) on the dance floor. My *~ real birthday is on Aug 29, but I have a beloved pal (Dan) flying in that night, and thus Aug 30 is the next perfect time.

I have been in a bit of a depressive place the last few weeks and I want to sweat it off me. Or, at least, move around with some buds. I would love to see you and squeeze you and jump around, get silly with you.

Whether or not you’re able to join on Aug 30, i’d lovvveeee any recs you have for where to dance. I’m hoping to find a spot and plant and welcome anyone and everyone as you / they / we roll through.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me hone in on a spot and helped me do the vibe / money / location / djs / ease math !! We are locked into General Lees in Chinatown–– it is free, there is a bar, there is outdoor access, there is space to chill, there is easy parking (and near metro), there is freakazoid music and dance space. Going to plant here around 9pm ish and be dancing until 1am ish. Come through anytime for however long. I’d love to see you, even for a minute. I hope to be crawling on the floor and in a grind train. Friends and any +1234s are so welcome.

My phone will be off for most of the eve. The venue is small enough where we can find each other very easily! I will send a mass text to all Yes + Maybes when I land at General Lees <3
